Why you should be more relational and less transactional with your videos
How much did your thanksgiving turkey weigh?
Did you guys know that a fish sleeps with the other half of its brain still active? What! If you were a fish during History classes, you have to share this newsletter with a friend.
As an LO, you're probably struggling to stay relevant to your previous or potential clients, especially your previous clients.
Most of us approach it from a social equity angle. You know, the "How's the baby's tooth coming?" or "How much did your Thanksgiving turkey weigh?" type of questions.
Not saying anything is wrong with that, but have you tried focusing on being their educator? A wise man once said, "Educating is attracting, and informing is motivating." P.S. That wise man is the number one LO in the country, having originated over $9 billion.
Today's dine and dash is on educational videos.
Here is why educational video content is important for you and as a little bonus for being a sexy reader, some video ideas for you to dash with.
1. It helps you build relationships with clients by showing yourself as a problem solver. You've heard of this a hundred times before but I'll still throw it in anyway: People buy from people they trust.
2. You’ll stay top of mind for your potential clients. So now they know where to start when they need the approvals. When someone mentions an energy drink, which two brands come to mind? Exactly, Roll that way.
3. Most importantly, you attract new clients. Not much to add here, educating is attracting.
So now that you know why video content is important, here are a few ideas to get you started:
The evergreen content:
What it feels like being a homeowner.
Do's and don'ts before buying a home
Budgeting tools
Behind the scenes as an LO
Timely and relevant:
How to get pre-approved
Answering questions about the market
Suitable mortgages for specific customers.
Client testimonials
See you on the next one, adieu.
